I am so excited to share with you all Dani and Ricky’s Christies of Genesee wedding. Their wedding day was filled with so much love, evident through the amount of family and friends in attendance to celebrate their marriage.
I remember during one conversation with Dani before her wedding, she mentioned that it would be magical if there was snow on their wedding day. Given the weather in Denver, Colorado, there’s a 50/50 chance of there being snow in the middle of February. You can imagine our excitement when right as Dani and Ricky exited their wedding ceremony, the most beautiful snowfall began! It was straight out of a movie! The snow stayed with us throughout our bridal party photos and some of our bride and groom photos.
One piece of advice I give to couples when planning their wedding is for them to think of unique elements to add to their wedding day that exemplify who they are as a couple. The priest who married Dani and Ricky was a family friend of Dani’s family. I always find it very special when the celebrant of the wedding ceremony has a personal connection to the bride or groom. When the celebrant knows the couple getting married, they are able to make the ceremony more meaningful. In addition to the ceremony, Dani and Ricky had sprinkled personalized elements throughout their day. Dani wore an assortment of jewelry passed down from past family members. Their wedding rings were hand-crafted by a good friend of Ricky’s. Dani even made all of the floral arrangements for the day!
Dani and Ricky, you two were an absolute joy to work with. I wish you both a lifetime of laughter and love!
Thank you to everyone who helped contribute to Dani and Ricky’s wedding day!
