I am so excited to share with you all Kaylin and Cole’s Sapphire Point Overlook engagement session. Ever since I first heard from Kaylin asking if I was available for her wedding, I just knew that these two would be a perfect fit for the Cat Murphy Photography family.
Kaylin and Cole actually met thanks to Uber! Cole picked up Kaylin’s friend in an Uber, and long story short, her friend set them up. After several years of watching The Office, date nights at home cooking dinner and drinking wine, and weekends exploring the Denver bar scene with their pup Rylee, Cole asked Kaylin to marry him.
With Kaylin having connections to UF, and with Cole having connections to CSU, it only made sense that they fly to Gainesville, FL for the UF vs CSU game. Little did Kaylin know that this would actually be the weekend Cole proposed! When coordinating this weekend, Cole made sure that his family, Kaylin family, and some of their closest friends could be in attendance for the proposal. Meanwhile, Kaylin thought she was organizing a house rental just for the football game.
Cole and Kaylin decided to give a toast to welcome their family and friends to the weekend of football and fun. But during the toast, Cole changed the subject and proposed to Kaylin right then and there, in front of their families and some of her best friends!
Let’s fast forward a few months now to this gorgeous winter engagement session at Sapphire Point Overlook. What you can’t tell from looking at these photos is how cold we all were! While Kaylin and Cole were impeccably dressed in front of the camera, I was actually wearing a long puffer coat behind the camera. I guess you could say their love and laughter kept them warm throughout the session!
Kaylin, Cole, and Rylee – Thank you for being so fun at your engagement session! I loved getting to know your little family, and I cannot wait until your wedding in September!
