When she took her first steps down the cobblestone walkway, she clutched onto her father’s left arm. Her father placed his right hand on hers, giving it one final squeeze. When they rounded the corner, there were tears in both her father’s eyes and the man who stood before them. Her future husband, just a few steps and vows away.
Caroline and Ryder’s beautiful Glendalough Manor wedding was straight out of a fairytale. Caroline and her handmaidens (…I mean bridesmaids) arrived to their suite with champagne, adorning their final details to go with their Show Me Your Mumu dresses. Caroline’s bouquet was an absolute dream, with hanging floral strands and dainty ribbon.
The ceremony was just as romantic, with Ryder so filled with emotion as his bride walked down the aisle. His vows were just as moving, with promises to hold her hand when times get tough, and to laugh with her all the days of their lives.
Caroline and Ryder’s wedding reception checked everything off my reception favorites list – delightful dinner conversations, hilarious and also meaningful toasts, delicious cake, a crowded dance floor, and every guest having a blast while celebration the union of two people they love.
“The real act of marriage takes place in the heart, not in the ballroom or church or synagogue. It’s a choice you make – not just on your wedding day, but over and over again – and that choice is reflected in the way you treat your husband or wife.” Barbara De Angelis
