Daisy and Tayler’s Ute Valley Park engagement session took place on a beautiful summer afternoon. The three of us had so much fun exploring the park, enjoying each other’s company and taking photos. Daisy and Tayler’s infectious laughter and fun personalities had me entertained throughout the whole session.
Daisy and Tayler were fortunate to have met their freshman year of high school. That’s right, Daisy and Tayler are high school sweethearts! But their relationship didn’t begin with romance. When they met, Tayler already had a girlfriend! But the months passed, and eventually Daisy and Tayler went to a Sadie Hawkins dance together only to keep things platonic. It wasn’t until the next summer that the two decided to go on another date and the rest is history!
After five years of dating, Tayler proposed to Daisy on Christmas morning. Tayler, being a rather silly guy, decided to make his proposal both sweet and funny. After enjoying a morning of opening presents, Tayler presented to Daisy her last gift. Daisy opened the gift, only to find another box! Box after box, Daisy continued opening her gift until she landed upon the final box. Inside that last box was a box that held her ring, and then Tayler proposed.
Fast forward to summer, and it was time for Daisy and Tayler’s engagement session at Ute Valley Park. I always encourage my couples to have an engagement session so they have the opportunity to get to know me and my photography style. Couples are always surprised by how fun it can be to be in front of the camera! When you’re taking pictures with your best friend, it’s easy to be comfortable hugging and laughing while having your photo taken. Our time together involved a lot of walking, spinning, twirling, and overall joy.
Daisy and Tayler, thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to spend time with you and feel the infectious joy of your love for each other. I cannot wait until your wedding next summer!
